We had the Rose Blanche, the Olivette martini, the Tuxedo 2.1 and one of the highball drinks. Positive reviews all around. Great addition to the neighborhood! ”

“ Great first experience at Bisous. Really relaxed environment that also feels welcoming and brings a nice mood. We went before dinner so it wasn’t too busy. They had some great booths along the way that were mostly filled but we decided for the bar. Bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable. The old fashioned style drink was amazing and so was the food we enjoyed. Strongly recommend. My goal is check out late night as I’m guessing a totally different vibe. ”

“ Stopped by Bisous on a Sunday evening as a solo traveler new to Chicago, and was thrilled by an incredible cocktail, amazing service, and artsy atmosphere. The times I've been in bars alone are always hit-or-miss, but the bartenders and hostess at Bisous made sure I was taken care of, with smiles and great, genuine chat. There's always something to look at, with great art on the walls, beautiful glass lamps, exquisite behind-the-bar setup and the soft sound of French music from the speakers. The menu is diverse and inventive, with a short but varied wine list and creative but balanced cocktails, plus various other spirits. I did a bartend's choice invented on the spot and it matched my mood perfectly--a Boulevardier riff with lemon bitters, deep and complex yet bright. The staff even granted me a glass of bubbles on the house! Next time I'm in Chicago, I'll definitely be back for food...and the best cocktails and best hospitality! “ This bar reminds me a lot of Sparrow. Intimate vibes and great for a date night spot, but the tables are really close together. I would not recommend for a large group. I got the Airmail cocktail, which didn’t seem like anything special. Presentation was plain and the drink was okay, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say I should’ve ordered a different drink. No reservations, walk-ins only. I would come back to try something else next time! ”
